Welcome to my homepage. There is not too much information or content here.
In this page I'll only shortly introduce my hobbies: Running, geocaching and travelling.
Combining those three hobbies will create the perfect holiday.

Running

Early 2001, I was discussing with my cousin. We made a challenge to participate in half marathon. Well... couple of months later we finished our very first full marathon. That's how it all started. After that, I have finished many different running competitions, up to 100km and 24 hours. Also, I like orienteering and especially trail running.

Geocaching

Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, in which participants use a GPS receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called 'geocaches', anywhere in the world.
Currently, there are more than 6 million geocachers and more than 3 million geocaches worldwide. I have found about 17000 of them, so there are still couple more to go. I have hidden 33 caches. Let me shortly introduce couple of them:

Jaa taas mää vai?

In this mystery cache I mixed my work and hobby and I created an simple app. User can get the coordinates by using that. How, you should solve it yourself ;)

Jaa mää löysin vai?

In this mystery cache I created a game called cacheSweeper. Be fast enough and get coordinates.

Jaa mää hunttasin vai?

Again, a game created: cacheSnake. Play well and get coordinates.

Jaa mää 50 vuotta vai?

This traditional geocache celebrates my 50th birthday.

Travelling

I have visited many interesting and beautiful places during my life. It would be impossible to introduce all of them. My photo album contains huge amount of nice travel photos. I randomly picked only very few of them. Here you are:
